Commercial Refurbishment Loans News:-Greenland Group has submitted an official application for the development of a 67-storey building at the site Hertsmere House, 2 Hertsmere Road, West India Quay, Poplar, London, E14 4AL. The entire project has been labelled as a Brownfield Site project, and it will be a privately funded development. The subcontract has been awarded to the application, while it is still pending a detailed approval.
The time period for the development of this project is 36 months; from January, 201 to January 2021. 1 structure consisting of 861 individual residential units, and rising as high as 67 storeys, will be constructed for this project. 2 storeys will also be developed below the ground level. The site area and the floor area covered by the structures will be 5300 square meters and 971 square meters. 480 one bedroom houses, 340 two bedroom houses, and 41 three bedroom houses will be developed during the construction of the project, and a total of 9 parking spaces will be offered to the residents. The project will also feature commercial and retail space with decorative landscaping.
Greenland Group is the primary client for the project. HOK International Limited (Head Office) has been chosen as the lead architecture firm for the development, and they will be joined by Bilnger GVA and Savills Plc, which will act as the primary planner firms for the project. Gillespies LLP will be the lead landscape architecture firm, while Gleeds UK Head Office will act as the lead quantity surveyor. The primary interior design firm for the entire development will be Argent Design Limited.
WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff (Head Office) will provide their consultancy services for mechanical and electrical engineering, while Robert Bird Group will lead the consultancy services for structural engineering, and civil engineering. The project managers for the development is AECOM and Gleeds UK Head Office. The subcontract for demolition has been awarded to Cantillon, while Bachy Soletanche Limited has won the subcontracts for foundations and groundworks. The primary external walls subcontractor will be Permasteelisa (UK) Limited.
