Instant Bridging Finance News:- London Borough of Hackney has submitted a development application for the construction of Phase 2 of One Parkside Colville Estate on the site One Parkside, Colville Estate, Islington, London, N1 5DB. This mixed funded Brownfield Site project has been awarded subcontract, but it is still pending detailed approval.

The project will include construction of 209 new residential units, a community centre, an energy centre and retail floor space for the community. Furthermore, it will be 8 storeys high, and it will feature 212 parking spaces. The net and gross retail floor space will cover an area of 350 square meters and 900 square meters respectively. General offices, general retailing units, hotels, restaurants, pubs, bars and decorative landscaping will also be included in the construction of this project. The project will be completed in an estimated duration of 24 months, from early May 2016 to early May 2018.
Mr Nicholas Ecob of Karakusevic Carson Architects will act as the primary and lead architect for this project, whereas Ms Jane Dann of Tibbalds Planning & Urban Design Limited has been assigned the role of the primary planner for the project. Mr Mark Lemanski of MUF Architecture & Design will be joining this project as the lead Landscape architect. Arcadis will be providing its services as the Quantity Surveyor. Peter Brett Associates will join Eurban Construction for providing consultancy services for Mechanical and Electrical engineering and Structural engineering. Mr Sisa Hwalima and Ms Lisa O’Hagan of London Borough of Hackney is joining the project as a part of the management group.
Mr Alan Vaux is the project manager for the primary contractors Higgins Construction Plc Head Office, while Mr Rob Honour is the project manager for the demolition subcontractor Squibb Group Limited. Civils subcontract and Groundworks subcontract is being held by Henry Construction Projects Limited and Togher Construction Limited. Mechanical, plumbing and Heating and Ventilation subcontract have been awarded to H&V Service Plan Limited.
TJ Lott Limited currently has the subcontracts for Ceiling finishing, Interior fitting and Wall finishing.The subcontract for Electrical services, security services and fire protection services is being held by East Electric Services.
The project’s developers and investors can easily gain access to capital from HZA for making this big infrastructure aim a huge success. Moreover, with funding from HZA, they can get a high return on investment.
