Canary Wharf Contractors Limited has officially submitted an application for the development of residential units at the site Wood Wharf Rm02a, Development Plots H1, H3, H4 and Part of Plot H2, Prestons Road, Poplar, London, E14 9SF. The council of Tower Hamlets has awarded the contract to the application, but it is still pending a detailed approval.

The entire development will be a new build on the previously empty land. The project will begin construction from October 2017. 1 structure, rising as high as 12 storeys, will be constructed for the development. It will consist of 143 residential units. 38 one bedroom houses, 42 two bedroom houses, 31 three bedroom houses, and 32 four bedroom houses will be developed for the project. 33 parking spaces will be offered to the residents.

Patel Taylor Architects and Adamson Associates (International) Limited will join this project as the primary architecture firms, while GVA Worldwide Head Office will act as the primary planner for the entire development. Wirtz International has been chosen as the lead landscape architecture firm. The primary contractor for the development is Canary Wharf Contractors Limited.
