Development Finance Loan News:- An official application has been submitted to the council of Ealing for the development finance of residential units for students by Downing Developments Limited. The site chose for the project is Holbrook House, Victoria Road, Acton, London, W3 6UN. The project has been categorized as Brownfield Project, and it will be funded privately. The subcontract has been awarded to the application, but it is still pending a detailed approval.
The entire development will be finished in a time period of 24 months; from August 2017 to August 2019. 1 structure, rising as high as 24 storeys, will be developed for the project, and it will consist of 424 residential spaces for the students. The floor and the site are for the construction will be 12457 square meters and 1100 square meters respectively. The development will also include social rooms, storage offices, retail units, general parking areas and rooftop garden terrace.
The position of the lead architecture firm for the project will be filled by Simpson Haugh & Partners, and the primary planner for the development will be Rolfe Judd Group Practice. Landscape Projects and Downing Developments Limited will act as the primary landscape architecture firm and quantity surveyor. The consultancy services for mechanical & electrical engineering and sustainability will be provided by Hoare Lea, while Walsh Group and RPS CgMs will offer their consultancy services in the areas of structural engineering and transport respectively.
Downing Developments Limited will be the project manager and the primary contractor for the development of this project. MPB Structures Limited has been awarded the subcontracts for foundations, frame and groundworks. The subcontracts for fire protection, heating & ventilation, mechanical & electrical engineering, plumbing, and security have been won by HE Simm & Son Limited.
