BL Development limited has submitted an official application for the development of residential and commercial property at the site New Scotland Yard, 8-10 Broadway, Westminster, London, SW1H 0BG. The council of Westminster has awarded the subcontract to the application, but a detailed approval is still pending. This is a privately funded Brownfield Site project, and it will begin after the demolition of the existing infrastructure on the land.

The project will begin in the second quarter of 2018, and it will finish development in 48 months in the second quarter of 2022. 5 structures, rising as high as 20 storeys, will be erected during the development of this project, and the floor and the site area covered by the project will be 41489 square meters and 7200 square meters respectively. 246 units will be developed during the construction, including 70 one bed houses, 107 two bed houses, 55 three bed houses, and 14 four bed houses. The development will also feature commercial, retail and office space.
The primary client is BL Development Limited, and the associated developer will be Northacre Plc. The lead architecture firm for the project will be Squire and Partners, and the primary planner firm will be GVA Worldwide Head Office. Gross Max and Core Five LLP will act as the primary landscape architecture firm, and the primary quantity surveyor respectively. The consultancy services for the areas of mechanical & electrical engineering, sustainability and energy will be provided by AECOM. Robert Bird Group will offer their consultancy for structural engineering, while the primary transport consultant will be Transport Planning Practice. Tower Eight will be the project manager for the development of this project. Keltbray Limited Head Office has won the subcontracts for demolition and groundworks.
