The Chelsea Barracks Phase 4 in Westminster Will | £250M

Congratulations to Chelsea Barracks Partnership for gaining planning for the development of Phase 4 of Chelsea Barracks at the site Chelsea Barracks, Chelsea Bridge Road & 107 Pimlico Road, Westminster, London, SW1W 8RF. This will be a privately funded brownfield site project, which will involve the construction of the new infrastructure on a previously empty land. The client intends to make use of development finance to finish the entire project.

The client will begin the project in the first quarter of 2019, and the project will be finished in the third quarter of 2020. With the help of development finance, the construction will be finished in a period of 18 months. 1 new structure will be erected as high as 5 storeys. The structures will consist of 88 residential units for the customers. The development will also include car parking, gymnasia, sports halls, entertainment centers, and various other business ventures.

Chelsea Barracks Partnership is the primary client and the primary developer for the entire project, but they will be joined by Qatari Diar, who will act as the associated developer.

Eric Parry Architects has been assigned the role of the primary architecture firms for the development process. DP9 Planning Consultants will join the project as the lead planning consultants. Gustafson Porter & Bowman will act as the lead landscape architecture firm for the development, and they will be joined by Arcadis LLP Head Office who will take on the role of the Quantity Surveyor. The development finance will ensure a smooth flow of plan throughout the construction process.

Atelier Ten will offer their consultancy services in the fields of Mech & Elec engineering and Horae Lea will also join them for the same services. The project manager for the development will be Turner & Townsend, and the surveyor will be Gordon Ingram Associates.
