Wood Dene | Peckham | £40M | detailed planning granted
Notting Hill Housing Trust has submitted an official application for the development of the site Wood Dene, Queens Road Meeting House Lane, Carlton Grove, Peckham, London, SE15 2AL. Since the current site is empty land this will cost less than the demolition of a building. The application has been submitted to the council of Southwark, and has gained detailed planning grained.
3 structures, rising as high as 9 storeys, will be constructed for the project, and the total site area covered by the structures will be 1.91 Ha. The entire floor area covered by the development will be 450 square meters. 333 residential units will be developed. A total of 116 parking spaces will be offered to the residents. 113 one bedroom houses, 152 two bedroom houses, 65 three bedroom houses, and 3 four bedroom houses will be featured in this project.
The architecture group includes Jestico Whiles & Associate as the lead architecture firm. GVA Worldwide Head Office will act as the primary planner. The landscape architecture firm for the project is Allen Pyke Associates. AECOM will join the development as the primary quantity surveyor.
The consultancy services for mechanical & electrical engineering and structural engineering will be offered by NIFES Consulting Group and RSK Group Limited Land & Development Engineering Limited respectively. The primary project manager for the entire development is Notting Hill Housing Trust (Head Office).
Higgins Construction Plc Head Office is the primary contractor for the entire development and also the lead groundworks subcontractor. Modebest Builder has been awarded the subcontracts for foundations and groundworks. Ground Construction Limited will be responsible for the subcontracts for floors, civils, foundations, groundworks, frames, and stairs. The lead floor finishing subcontractor and wall finishing subcontractor are Stortford Tiling & Marble Limited.
